Flooding in Ecuador

Flooding in Ecuador

Over the last two weeks, heavy rains caused by the El Niño weather pattern have triggered flooding in parts of Ecuador. Compassion project, Joyas de Cristo Student Centre has been badly damaged. The kitchen and dining rooms have been destroyed and the staff are currently unable to serve food to the children. Compassion Ecuador is supporting this church partner, providing disaster funds to enable them to serve emergency food and safe water to children and their families. The local government is also giving assistance.

Please pray for all those in the affected regions. Ask God to be with children and their families as they recover. Please also pray for favourable weather conditions as they make repairs and rebuild.
