Elections in Tanzania

Compassion Tanzania asks for prayer for the upcoming general election on the 25 October.

Current president, Jakaya Kikwete, is due to retire having served his second and final term. The election is set to be closely contended and there are fears it will disrupt what many regard as one of Africa’s strongest democracies.

“Pray for peace to prevail and that God will give us leaders who will be able to govern in peace for the country to continue ahead.”  Compassion Tanzania
