Children evacuated after flooding in East Indonesia
Take a moment out of your day to pray for children in East Indonesia who have faced trauma and fear over the last few days due to flooding. Many children and families in Winuri, Batu Putih, North Minahasa and North Sulawesi have been evacuated from their homes as flood waters have risen following heavy rains which began on January 26.
Children at Harapan Kita Student Centre and Karang Kekal Student Centre have been sheltering in the church buildings, waiting for the flood waters to survive.
Please pray for all those in the affected regions:
- Pray for the flood damage to be minimal and for homes and businesses to be spared.
- Lift up our church partners in prayer as they provide emergency rations and support the most vulnerable children and families.
