Children praying in East India

5 children who urgently need your prayers

  • At the end of October, 16-year-old Sarocha from Thailand went missing from her school. Staff from her Compassion project, along with her parents and relatives, are desperately trying to find her and bring her home.
  •  12-year-old Belayneh from Ethiopia has had surgery on both of his knees after losing the ability to walk. His recovery is going slower than expected and he is struggling to use his crutches. Please pray for Belayneh.
  • Tania from Ecuador has undergone surgery to remove a brain tumour. The operation was more complicated than expected. Our church partner in Ecuador asks for our prayers: "Please pray that God will perform a miracle in Tania's life and she will be healed. Ask that Tania's family will trust God more and accept him as Lord during this difficult experience."
  • Sponsored child Esther from Kenya recently lost her father in a tragic road accident. Her mother doesn't work and is struggling to meet the family's basic needs. Compassion project staff are providing the family with extra support. Please pray for Esther's family as they grieve.
  • Kodjo from Togo was knocked by a car on the 16 October and seriously injured. He has been admitted to Lomé Teaching Hospital after having surgery on his head.
