Kate Wharton

Kate is Vicar of St. George’s Everton, Liverpool, one of the most deprived parishes in the UK, and Area Dean of Liverpool North. She’s very involved with the ministry of New Wine, as the Urban Ministry Leader for the Northern region. She has recently written her first book,‘Single Minded – Single and whole and living life to the full’. She has been a supporter of Compassion for over 10 years and sponsors 2 children, one in India and one in Uganda, both of whom she’s had the amazing privilege of meeting. She loves to travel, especially to Asia and Africa. She is passionate about seeing people whom society has marginalised be transformed by the love and grace of Jesus.
