World Refugee Day
On World Refugee Day, join us in praying for displaced children and their families.
"For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" Galatians 5:14
Take a couple of moments to pray for:
- Children fleeing from conflict and persecution. Ask God to protect those making dangerous journeys.
- Stability in the countries people are fleeing from. Although we don’t work in Syria or many of the other nations where refugees are fleeing from, we want to raise our voices in prayer. Pray for Syria, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Somalia, Nigeria, Libya and other affected nations.
- The UN's #WithRefugees campaign is petitioning to ensure every child refugee is given an education and a safe place to live. Pray into this - ask for God's mighty provision for children who have lost everything. Pray for wisdom for governments and other agencies as they respond.
