Pray for those living near Mount Soputan

8 January 2016

Praise God that the situation has now stabilised after Mt. Soputan’s eruption earlier this week. There has been no further damage to local Compassion projects.

4 January 2016

Mt. Soputan erupted yesterday in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is one of their most active volcanoes, as it also erupted last March. Lava is currently flowing down the mountain’s eastern slope. Please pray for all those who live in North Sulawesi.

A few Compassion projects have been damaged from the volcano's ash but thankfully  heavy rains over the last two days have prevented this from being significant.
