Raise a concern

I have concerns about safeguarding, malpractice or the conduct of a person in the organisation.

Compassion encourages anyone to raise a concerns regarding malpractice or wrongdoing without fear of victimisation, subsequent discrimination or disadvantage. Our Director of People & Culture is the Designated Officer appointed internally as the main point of contact for concerns raised. Compassion takes all concerns raised seriously and will take any action necessary to investigate and resolve the matter.

If the concern is deemed a criminal offence it may also be reported to the police.

Please tell us more information about the concern. If possible, provide dates, times, places and people involved. Include details of how you know about the concern and when you became aware.

We accept anonymous reporting but remember, this limits our ability to investigate further, makes it difficult to give you feedback or process the complaint effectively. When you provide yours details, we will treat this confidentially and make every effort to protect your identity.

Compassion will use the details you provide to contact you about the alleged mismanagement or malpractice. The records will be stored for six (6) years after the duration of the complaint handling or longer where appropriate.
