Mbuche as she recovers from the floods
Take a moment to pray for Mbuche from Kenya.
Mbuche is in 8th grade and studying hard for her end of year exams. Earlier this month flash floods swept through her home, destroying most of her possessions including her school books.
Despite the challenges of the last few weeks, Mbuche holds tightly to her faith. She has been taking comfort from her favourite verse from Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures ..."
"This Psalm encourages me to put my trust in God," says Mbuche. "God knows and sees all that we have lost and will in His time come through for me and my family."
Please join us in praying for Mbuche. Pray for her:
- Exams - may she know God's wisdom and peace as she prepares over the next few weeks.
- Family - ask for God's provision as they repair their house.
- Wider community - pray for the most vulnerable as they rebuild their livelihoods.
