Praise God for a family kept safe
Join us in giving thanks for George and his family who were able to escape before their home gave way in a landslide.
George and his family used to live in a house that sat on a cliff in Mombasa, Kenya. During the recent torrential rain the earth underneath their house gave in, causing it to fall into the valley below. Thankfully all the family were all able to get out before the house crumbled.
- Pray for God’s provision over George, his parents and three siblings as they relocate to a new home.
- Pray for peace for the family, that they will be able to sleep at night and not be anxious after their experience.
- Pray also for George who has big dreams, “I want to be a surgeon in future. My dream is to alleviate the suffering of people that is caused by disease. I believe that people should live happy lives regardless of their race, tribe or religion.”
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4: 6-7
