Children praying in Bangladesh

An update on the cyclone in Bangladesh

27 April

Thank you for praying for those affected by the cyclone in Bangladesh. Praise God, children have been able to return to school and normal Compassion centre activities have resumed. Those with damaged homes have put up plastic roofs until a more permanent solution is built.

"For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings." Psalm 61:3-4

13 April

  • Last week a storm known as a Nor’wester blew over Bangladesh, carrying cyclones and strong winds
  • Two Compassion projects were damaged and 45 children and families lost homes and possessions.
  • Please pray for all those affected by Nor'wester. Pray for communities to recover quickly and for those staying in temporary shelters to find new housing.
