56 families recovering from a fire
Take a moment to pray for families in Iloilo, the Philippines. On 16 April, a spark on an electricity post caused fire to break out in the community. Homes in the area are made of light materials so sadly 56 houses were quickly burnt to ash.
Please join us in praying for God's provision for all the families who have lost their homes and possessions. May God strengthen them during this time of crisis. Lift up our local church partner as they support the community practically and emotionally during this difficult time. They have been distributing emergency supplies and tents for temporary shelter. Many of the families are now staying in an evacuation centre provided by the local government.
