3 things to pray for children in the Dominican Republic
Our church partners in the Dominican Republic have shared 3 issues currently affecting many of the children in their projects. Take a moment to pray for:
- Family unity. In their latest update, many of our partners describe increasing challenges with family breakdown. Pray for God to strengthen families in the Dominican Republic. Ask for comfort for children living in difficult, disruptive or violent home environments.
- Protection. Gang violence is a significant issue in many of the communities where we work. One of our projects in Barahona asks us to pray for God to protect children from local gangs who, tragically, are known to abduct children with the aim of selling their organs.
- Knowledge of God’s love. Pray for the children we work alongside to know God’s love and care for them. The Assembly of God Church in Villa Esperanza asks us to join them in praying for revival for the nation.
