Flooding in Brazil

Over the last couple of weeks, heavy rains in the northeastern state of Pemambuco have affected the cities of Marraial and Catente in Brazil. Communities have experienced landslides and flooding as the local rivers have overflowed. Many homes have been damaged.

Two of Compassion's local church partners have been affected. According to the latest reports from our country office, 41 children have been impacted by the flooding in Brazil. Project staff are currently distributing food, hygiene products, clothes and mattresses to those in need. Some families are temporarily staying in local sports clubs.

Please pray for provision and protection for all those who have lost homes and livelihoods.
