Supporter Relations Assistant – Engage Team

We are currently recruiting for a Supporter Relations Assistant to join our vibrant Engage Team.

You’ll be helping to retain and grow the engagement of individuals enabling them to fully understand the significance of their partnerships with Compassion and the impact their support has on the life of their sponsored child.

This position would suit an individual with customer service experience, exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and a desire to help remove injustice and poverty and see children achieve their God-given potential. You’ll need to be an effective listener with the ability to motive and encourage, striking the appropriate balance between friendliness and professionalism. Telephone based customer service experience is essential for this role.

The purpose of the role is to build strong and effective relationships with Compassion's supporters by:

  • Conducting outbound communications that encourage the continuation of sponsorship;
  • Educating supporters on the significance of their support;
  • Facilitating an exceptional supporter journey ensuring excellent customer service

The key outcomes for this role include:

  • Promote and maintain Compassion's Christian ethos and values;
  • Increase supporter engagement and understanding;
  • Increase supporter retention.

There is an occupational requirement for the post holder to have a personal commitment to the Christian faith.

This is a fixed term maternity cover role, office-based post - 28 hours per week with flexible working conditions and some evening and Saturday work from home.
